“I used to have a best friend, things turned ugly and Im starting to get bullied and its 2-3 weeks before I go back to school and if I stay ill have to put up with her another 4-3 years. I dont know wether to transfer or not D:”
Story time.
So when I was a little girl, I had a very close friend. She and I then became friends with two other girls, and the four of us were inseparable. To keep the story straight, lets call the first girl in the story A, and the other two B and C. So A and I were really close. She and I at first went to different schools. I was at school with B and C then A came and joined us. A and I were in beginning quidditch together, and thats how we met. So when she came to Hogwarts and the four of us became friends, I thought we were going to be friends forever.
But then one day things changed. A grew closer to B and C and all three of them were leaving me behind. I chose to ignore this, after all, “I’m Narcissa Black!” When we were in class I could ignore how they treated me, but when we were at quidditch, A treated me like we were perfect friends. It was really strange. She was the one that taught me about the muggle contraption that is the computer. She got me an account on some site, (I forget the name, that was a loooonggg time ago) and she had one too. And then I found out that she had another account. On account one, all four of us were friends, on account two, only A, B, and C.
So what did I do? I confronted her of course. And she was in absolute denial. All three of them bullied me, and I hated them. I still had most of my schooling to go, and I would have to deal with them. So now what? I held my head up high, and pretended they didn’t exist. They still ridiculed me behind my back, and ruined a bunch of friendships for me, but I learned something then. You are a better person than the scum you ran around with. By being confident in myself, by knowing I was better than them, I was.
I don’t know how old you are, or where you are in school, but in Muggle terms, that was about the “High School” years for me. And as luck would have it, I made new friends (come on, who wouldn’t want to be friends with me?) and A and B moved away. Granted C was still around, but it got to the point that it didn’t matter what any of them were doing because I didn’t need them. Sure you could argue that it was a bit heartless to cast them away like the scum they were, but I didn’t need people like that in my life. I cut off all communications with them and avoided them like Dragon Pox.
Moral of the story: You may not see it now but you’re a better person then the ones who bully. Most commonly, kids bully because something is wrong with their home life. For example, my Draco. Yes you will have to deal with this girl, but my advice to you is to hold your head up high, and wait it out. Don’t be afraid to tell someone. You may feel like it’s “telling on someone” but you’ll feel better if you do.
This girl shouldn’t run you out of your school. It’s yours just as much as hers and you have as much rights as she does to it. Sure you may see her in all of your classes, but don’t let this girl take away what you’ve got. Stay in school. In time she’ll get her “just desserts”.
Good luck to you dear.
